Capital Tutoring Seeks Academic Tutors for SOL Prep Classes (Bon Air, VA)
Capital Tutoring is seeking four-five knowledgeable and professional academic tutors for a short term tutoring contract over the summer.
Title: Academic Tutor
Location: Richmond Area. Candidates must have access to reliable transportation.
Time: Approximately 30-40 hrs/week over nine weeks from May through August.
Project Summary: Tutoring SOL review courses to groups of no more than five students. We are hiring tutors for the following subjects:
Reading
World History I
World History II
VA/US History
Algebra I
Geometry
Biology
Earth Science
Qualifications: Successful candidates will be undergraduates with strong a strong GPA in the subject they apply to tutor, graduate students, or current/retired academic professionals.
