I live in Upstate New York. My wife and I bought a 1999 Honda Accord and a 1997 Lexus. Both are older cars and we bought them without Titles. We had no idea getting Titles in New York State would be such a headache. A mechanic told us he thought we'd be able to get Titles in Maine because Maine is more permissive or liberal when it comes to car Tutles. He said a lot of of out of state non-Maine trucking companies register their trucks in Maine for that reason.
