"WHEN THE MUSIC'S OVER"

SET IN the 1920's amid the chaos and corruption brought on by Prohibition, this comedy/crime drama/musical follows a young traveling blues singer whose overconfidence gets him caught up in an unfortunate situation.

*Shooting LABOR DAY WEEKEND (September 4, 5, and 6, 2015) in Rhode Island.
*Proper meals and IMDb credit will be provided.
*Auditions will take place on August 17th and 18th. Please email with your resume, headshot, and reel if you have one, along with the audition day and time slot (10:30am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm, and 4pm-6pm) you would like to attend. Location of the audition will be provided in our response email.
All interested should come prepared with a monologue. Those interested in the role of Clark should also come prepared with a song.

This film is set to run the festival circuit, and appear in TV broadcasts, mobile device platform screenings, compilation distribution, and MORE!

Character Bios:
[CLARK CUNNINGHAM] Male, All ethnicities, attractive, can play 18-26 years old.
A charismatic drifter whose greatest joy comes from sharing his vocal gift with others. His over confidence lands him in trouble with the law.
*Must be able to sing. Please come prepared to perform a song in addition to a monologue.

[HOMELESS MAN MAX] Male, All ethnicities, can play 30-60 years old.
A talented saxophone player whose only stage is the street he lives on. Though content with what he has, he has distant dreams of a bigger audience.
*Saxophone experience preferred.

[LARRY 'COOL HAND' LUCAS] Male, Caucasian, can play 20-28 years old.
A semi-talented musician desperately seeking fame who tries to exploit Clark's musical gift.

[CONVENIENCE STORE MEN] 4 small speaking roles. Can play 40-60 years old.
Prohibition era store workers/bootleggers who engage in shady backroom dealings.
*Eccentric appearances welcome.
