Irrational FIlms, LLC is casting for an independent drama shooting this summer. We are looking to fill two lead roles. We are currently producing our most ambitious short yet and require absolute precision and care with acting and scheduling.
Summary:
A psychiatrist helps a woman overcome her anxiety, but with unexpected consequences.
Lead Male
Age: Mid-Thirties through Late Fifties
A psychiatrist with the urge to help people, but the feeling that he isn't. Rather level-headed in front of others, but with a slight hint of self-doubt and depression in his own. Very personable, but not over-excited. Relatively clean, positive posture and open body language.
Lead Female
Age: Early Twenties through Mid Thirties
A woman who suffers from a crippling form of anxiety. Speech and attention seem to trail off or be held back. She will grow and make progress overcoming her disorder with help from the Lead Male. Very reserved body language and defensive posture, with a progression to a much more natural body language.
Casting will be held at the Michael's 8th Ave ballrooms in Glen Burnie, MD. Audition dates and times are:
June 2 from 5-9pm
June 4 from 5-9pm
