POSITION SUMMARY:
Local company looking for a Class A CDL driver to operate a 53 ft tractor-trailer. Only candidates willing to assist with local and commercial moves will be considered. This is a local driving job, drivers are home every night.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely navigate moving trucks between city and residential neighborhoods.
Steady year round work.
Duties could include frequently lifting and/or carrying objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds, and have the ability to reach, bend and twist to load and unload boxes and furniture.
Applicant MUST be willing to assist with moves.
Applicant must be familiar with FMCSA regulations regarding pre and post trip inspections, daily paperwork, general transport laws, allowable weights, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of application process
Must pass drug and background check
Current CDL, Medical Card, Clean driving record
Driving abstract (Motor Vehicle Record) and resume
