My 8-year-old son is moving quickly through the Suzuki books. He is currently on book 5 and 6. He has an instructor but he is out of town a lot. We are seeking another "coach" for my son, who is quickly advancing (and so much fun to work with). He was invited to play in the Face The Music symphony as part of the Special Music School (but does not go to school there). We live in the South Slope area and can come to you--or you can come to us. We are on a bit of a budget. He needs help on advancing Suzuki pieces, as well as Allegro Appasianato, Goens' Scherzo, Bach cello suites (just started the Prelude), and that kind of thing. We are a bit cash-strapped as arts workers with two kids, but please let us know how much you would charge for 45 mins or an hour -- and please give us your background. Thank!
