CELLO lessons (accepting students for a limited time only) (Brookline)
Hello!
I am accepting a few new cello students over the summer.
Ages 8 and up
(younger age can be accepted depending on the student)
Beginner, intermediate and advanced levels
About me:
Having received a tremendously rich training from world-renown pedagogues and schools such as the New England Conservatory, Rice University and Boston University, I primarily perform and teach in the Boston area. I have been teaching for the past 14 years, and I am very dedicated to my students. My students have done very well over the years, winning auditions into all-region and all-state orchestras.
Teaching:
Lessons cover a wide range of topics. It's usually up to the individual student as to how quickly lessons will move or how much we will cover. Here are the main topics--
-Foundational techniques
-Body awareness
-Approaches to various musical styles
-Music theory
-How to practice
Trial lessons are possible by appointment. And yes, if you don't have an instrument, I would be glad to help in acquiring one.
