Cherokee is approximately 2 yrs old and a sweet playful girl. Being very high energy, plenty of daily exercise is a must. She does not currently walk well on leash but Cherokee is a very smart girl and wants to please her human so will learn quickly with training. Cherokee could turn out to be a super jogging partner! She is very obedient inside the house, and a real cuddle bug. She is also a people lover!!
Cherokee is good with children. It is best if the children are older than 12 and mindful of her as she is currently possessive with her toys. This can be overcome with training. Cherokee can be good with other dogs if there are very slow intros. You must be mindful of the cues between the dogs during their "getting to know each other" time. The foster she is with now has a wide variety of dogs in home at the moment. She has had some issues with the female dogs but gets along well with the neutered male. And NO cats for her as she has a very high prey drive.
She is spayed and UTD on shots. She is house broken and crate trained. She has never chewed on anything at all either. She is such a good girl! She is a work in progress but with the right forever home she will be a most awesome dog!!
