Cic LA Via costs Taxpayers over 350,000 Cic La Via (CIC LA VIA)

An event that is wasting taxpayers money is CicLaVia, which costs $350,000 dollars. If people want to ride a bicycle they can do it for free whenever/wherever they want to. They don't need an event which costs taxpayers $350,000 dollars, shuts down roads, and causes traffic. People work on Sunday and they rely on buses to get where they need to go. Cicla via causes so much congestion so people cannot get on-time to work (detours = delays = late for work) If CicLaVia wants this event, they are welcome to pay for it 100% themselves.

Specifically Ciclavia gets their money from state/federal programs dealing with the environment, public health and alternative mobility.

Obviously there are better uses for the money. (Drought, Drinking Water quality, Air quality, Road potholes, etc. . .)

Los Angeles has the dumbest people in the USA. Having Ciclavia proves that. Do you want to change that or continue to remain dumb? Do you want to live in such a high cost of living city and complain about low wages?

If people want to ride a bicycle they can do it for free whenever/wherever they want to. If you need the city to block off streets so you can ride your bike, you are the definition of dumb.

Sincerely,
Tax Attorney / Born and Raised in Los Angeles

Shut Ciclavia down; let City Hall know
