Position: CNC HOB Machine operator
Pay $12.00 - $18.00 per hour DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
Location: Chicago-South side(10 minutes from South Holland)
Typical shift days/hours: 2ND shift(2:30pm-11pm), must be available to work Monday-Saturday(shift days and hours could fluctuate)
Position Description:
Set up and or operate a CNC Hobs Machine, Shaving Machine, and other miscellaneous machines in the Hob Cell.
Essential Job Duties
Perform all the Essential Job Duties of a CNC Hob Operator
Perform set ups on all equipment in the Hob Cell
Provide support to CNC Hob operators
Work with Engineering to develop new parts through the cell
Providing feedback to Engineering as the development process moves from one stage to another
Use established parallel axis gear practices to achieve quality requirements of the final product
Insure delivery and quality goals are met by executing schedules and ensuring procedures are being followed.
Provide feedback to leadership on employee's performance.
Report production/quality issues immediately to leadership.
Education/Experience/Skills
High School degree or equivalent
Good verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of practical shop mathematic
Practical knowledge of parallel axis gears
Ability to read and process blue prints
Ability to use required measuring tools
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
