I am the founder and owner of an entertainment website that averages 300K uniques and 1,000,000 pageviews per month and earns up to $12K in advertising revenue per year. Our main competitor is doing > 30 Million unique visitors a month, and has it's monetization dialed in. I believe this could be a business of that scale, if not more. Attached are our analytics data from the time we launched - as you can see, we've had over 33M pageviews and the brand has been exposed to about 10M users.
I am looking for a co-founder and business partner (with the engineering skills and business acumen) to take this business to the next level.
The ideal person would be:
A skilled engineer (front end and back-end), well-versed in PHP frameworks (like CakePHP, Laravel, etc).
Has good Design & UI (front-end) skills
Has the business acumen to analyze opportunities and provide strong recommendations (based on data, quantitative and qualitative analyses) on what to build next, and then execute on it.
High integrity - someone who doesn't believe in a short-cut to success
Driven and motivated to create a successful business
