Greetings!
I am grateful for this opportunity to offer babysitting and/or nanny service in Greater Orlando, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Lake Mary, Heathrow, and surrounding areas in Central Florida. I am a 35 year young mother of one, with my Advanced Child Care Certification from American Red Cross, and Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification from American Red Cross.
My name is Anna Maria. I am the eldest of five children, and growing up, my parents always had lots of friends with kids, so I was blessed with many babysitting opportunities from a very young age. In addition, I am a mother to an amazing, wonderful little boy who is now four and a half years young!
From his infancy, I had a blast teaching my son to read, and many other helpful things, using early learning techniques and programs, which I am happy to share with you and your young children, if desired. By 12 months of age, my son was reading many words, by 18 months, he taught himself the planets of our solar system from one of his science books--completely on his own--and by 2. 5 years of age, he was reading everything he came across and loving it, to the amazement of others!
I am a natural teacher, and I love to connect with children at their level and find ways to inspire them to love life, to love learning, and to develop high moral character. Over the past year, I spent time working first as a substitute teacher, then as an assistant teacher, at two different Montessori schools. During my time in the Montessori school setting, I learned more about how to connect with children at their level, and many wonderful activities and concepts for how to nurture practical, fun, hands-on learning for young children.
I have a genuine mother's love for all creation, and I continually seek how I may develop to my fullest potential for good so that I may help everyone by participating in lifting the vibration of our planet, and beyond. I am a free thinker, truth seeker, philosopher, and I am also an artist. I am a poet, a writer, and a classically trained singer/songwriter, as well as a photographer. One of my greatest joys is to share my creativity with children through story time, which includes story book reading, poetry, songs, and blessings!
In addition to being an artist / mother who is wonderful with kids, I also happen to be professionally trained in Jeff Campbell's Perfect Maintenance Cleaning (speed cleaning), and I am happy to help out around your home with some light housekeeping while I care for your children, so long as it does not take me away from my ability to properly attend to the needs of your kids.
