Corvette, Vintage Race Car, Hot Rod amp Muscle Car Restoration (Metro Detroit, Flint, Port Huron)

Do you have a special car, or project that needs finishing up, repair or restoration? Have you been looking for a shop that you can trust with your beloved car to do the job right?

My friend has a small specialty body shop where he performs 'miracles' in metal, fabrication and paint. As an example: he has finished up a complete re-body on the Plymouth Barracuda you see pictured with this post. And, yes, he can also work on classic fiberglass, or late model SMC Corvettes.

He has been practicing his craft for over 30 years and is fully accredited ICAR and ASE. His clean, well equipped shop even has a state of the art downdraft paint booth. While top quality workmanship doesn't come cheap, the labor rates are very affordable and less than many competitors. Plus, there are no wasted motions adding to your job total. Your job will be done right the first time, efficiently and at a fair price.

Business has been good and several extensive projects have been finished up, including a rotisserie, turn-key restoration of a '65 Dodge Coronet Hemi car. There's now room to book new work for late spring, and early summer. Depending on how involved your project is and how quickly we can get started, you could be driving your ride sometime this summer 2015. There's still time but don't delay, get your slot reserved now.

I am screening potential clients before referring them to my friend so as not to waste his time. I don't want to send tire kickers, lookers and dreamers to his shop and I'm not going to send him on a wild goose chase to look at your project, unless you are serious, flush with funds and ready to proceed. He is ONLY interested in taking on clients who want their car done the right way and who are willing to spend the money it takes to do it. No quickie spray jobs or 'ten footers' done here. There are plenty of other shops who can do that for you if that's what you want.

My friend accepts weekly pay as you go terms, so you can be comfortable paying for the work on your car ONLY as it is completed. Sometimes a small deposit upfront to cover material will be required. He keeps a log for each project and documents each step with plenty of digital photographs. You'll find working with my friend will be a pleasure. He is a man of his word and does what he says he will do. If you are interested, shoot me an email with your phone number and I'll give you a call to discuss your project and answer any preliminary questions you might have before referring you over to my friend's shop.

PS: My friend also does top quality collision repair, schedule allowing. He won't be the cheapest price but he will work with your insurance adjuster to make sure you get a fair settlement and return your special late model car to pre-accident condition. However, the real reason he opened his shop was to create his automotive Picasso's. He really loves classic cars, hot rods and other special restoration, fabrication, or repair.
