A small, rural down-home spot in Durham is searching for a DJ for periodic events as needed. This would be special events- (themed, holidays, seasonal, general house entertainment). Starters with a good work ethic, looking for a very casual work environment are encouraged.

We are looking for a DJ with reasonable rates, with knowledge of a variety of music for different audiences, but primarily your music should include up-tempo Soul, "Liquor House"(a must), old-school Rhythm & Blues and line dance music. Having other genres (Hip-hop, Pop) on-hand is a definite plus, but having the aforementioned is a NECESSITY. Knowing how to move the crowd and blend for good transitions/continuous music flow is a must. You should also have your own equipment.
