QR Code Link to This Post Hello, I was wondering if there is anyone who offers help for christmas or if anyone can point me in the right direction as to where to start. Mainly children items needed. Here is my situation, my older sister lives in fla and will be coming up here to stay a few weeks with me to get her and her two children out of a bad and abusive situation with her now ex boyfriend. My fiance and I just moved to the area about 6 months ago we live in lumpkin Ga. The past 3 months we have been completely down on our luck with one set back after another. Starting around the end of September we had car trouble and were out of work 5 or 6 days until our vehicle was repaired we were finally starting to catch back up until two days before thanksgiving Nov 21st we hit a deer and totally totalled our only form of transportation thankfully we were ok unfortunately we only had liability insurance on our vehicle so we were out of a vehicle and no transportation to work and we live 35 miles one way from columbus where we both worked. Unfortunately due to no transportation we both lost our jobs thankfully we were able to get a car at a low price now unfortunately we still don't have jobs as we just got the car and got it legal 5 days ago. So we have my sister and her two babies coming up on the 18th to stay through Christmas and most likely longer until she herself can get back on her feet and provide a stable home for her babies because she has absolutely no where else to go. My problem is my sister is a home maker taking care of her girls (4 and 7) so she has no income nor do my fiance and I at the moment. My sister does get foodstamps so the food aspect will be covered and our bills are still currently caught up for the month so we are good on that as well so I'm not asking for money and I hate that I have to even ask for help but I would love more than anything for my girls to have a great Christmas as the only things my sister has only been able to get them are bikes and helmets for Christmas so far.
