Dog wanted, for great, fun, loving home (United States)

Looking to adopt a shepherd, preferably a Belgian or German shepherd, or A Husky , Malamute, or muttley mix, even a wolf cross. Aged from puppy to 7 years or so. Must tolerate car rides, either head out the window in a seat , or in the back of my subaru outback , I have the dog accesory package with giant hamster water bottle, colapsable crate and a nylon safety net. Rather have a wind loving co-pilot tho.

My Sister is vet (just graduated couple years ago) at New Bolton Center. She is really good because she cares so much, experience comes in time.

i think im able to provide an ideal home and life for a dog.

A few yeqrs ago I adopted a surrendered diabetic 12yo Belgian Shepherd, owner couldn't afford meds. She lived alost 4 more yeara, died in my arms peacefuly, it not enough time with her. Even with her medical problems, she, never had an accident in house, even during her last month's when she would crawl to newspaper in the kitchen (she didn't like using the paper) or had to carry her outside. sweetest, smartest dog ever, you literally could just talk to her and she understood almost everything!
(("Example ", LALA, companies pulling up, show your r rope to the kid!,......LALA.,Please bring my boots,, then get your harness and leashe, ""), lala close toilet please, it's not a big gulp!. Amazing dog. I don't know if someone trained that stuff, or what.

Early in my life i liged on a small farm, I was given a tiny baby German Shepherd, Greta I grew up with her:got her as a runt puppy i had to bottle and spoon feed her when i was about 7 , she could open doorknobs, and kept us 3 young boys Herded in our unfenced yard, and wouldnt let us off rhe porch if parent wasn't around. Basically an excellent nanny (hey, that's pretty close to being raised by wolves!!) protective but sweet, mailman could feed her by hand, but she chased unfamiliar Vacuum salesmend and such strangers right away! (Without biting. ..much)
. It's been long enough I won't feel like I'm replacing her.

have most experience with Shepherds, and labs.

I just purchased a great home for a dog, fenced back yard, hardwood floors, lots of places to chill out and sleep, , fireplace for winter, already got two wicker cedar bad beds, human furniture is all dog friendly (distressed(claws won't hurt) leather chairs and stain/scratch resistant sofas, huge dog park across the street., wildlife trails adjacent. Sister is a vet at New Bolton Center, recent divorce has her at my dads, so I'll see her often, my Father has a small farm in Landenberg, couple mellow horses that like dogs, and his friendly jack Russell collie dog. I'm newly single, this will be my full time companion pup, 24/7, sleep at the foot of the bed, come with me to work (although I will train to prevent separation anxiety, very important). I also visit my brother often(several times a week), my niece is 6, very, good with dogs. And his wife is a professional groomer, so it will be a very clean, happy pooch!

Very experienced with Shepherds and Labs, grandfather used to train dogs, for breeders, hunters, and citizens. Please no crazy expensive Rehoming fees, new house means lots of expenses,( shelter equivalent homing fee is no problem, and reimbursement for the dogs property, toys, bowls, Crate if used, bed, etC. Is fine.
I'll feed whatever you have been feeding for consistency.

Mixes are fine (actually helps prevents certain ailments) Mutts even, other breeds would be ok too.
Other breeds I like
Shibu Inu (a favorite, pet sat all summer and begged to keep him)
Australian Shepherd
Austrian Shepherd (Malmo is or ....what's the cool black one called?)
Black lab (all labs)
Golden Retriever
Border Collie/English Shepherd
Alaskan Malamute
Siberian Husky
Pomeranian (bigger mixed ones are really cool)
Weimeriner
Japanese Dog, Shiba Inu (another favorite)
Portuguese water dogs
Bulldog (not pit's, the big headed slobbering kind)
Belgian pug (squish face)
Poodle , especially poodle mixes.
oh, Irish Setters, another fav!
Many other breeds Too. Smarter the better.

The only Breeds I don't care for
Doberman
Rottweiler
Pit Bulls and related type dogs (I know they are usually sweet, had bad experience)
Dalmatian
Greyhound
whippet
mean dogs

So, hopefully someone has a dog for me.

.
please, no more scams.

If this ad is still up I'm STILL looking, tried Acct shelter in Philly, but the dogs are mostly pits. Prefer 6 months to 2years, or a puppy, but healthy 5-7+ ok too. dogs requiring chronic health care, injection s, etc, could be ok, I can manage a cate routine

I'm a glass blower, I can also trade glass pieces, ornaments, desk planters, marbles, hummingbird feeder s, my implosion and vortex marbles sell for $50-200 , I will definitely give you one of them, and a hummingbird feeder, working on glass prismatic hummingbird s now, and Minions!, you know you want a 5":glass kevin!: I used to work at Gallery 908 in philly.

Thanks again,
John Adam Cotter
