Shelter Notes:
❖ NCAF Photographer Reports:
❖ Day 2: Dola is quiet and seems a bit nervous in the shelter. ~ Kat
❖ Day 5: Dola is very timid, and unsure about being in the shelter. She let us leash her and take her out with some coaxing. After a bit of time outside she started to relax a bit. She wants to be trusting.. but I don't think people have been very kind to her. She needs someone to give her the safety, patience and gentle loving she needs to come out of her shell. ~Meagan
~ DOLA UPDATE 6/18 ~ Dola is heartworm positive, but tick diseases didn't show on a 4DX snap test. She did excellent on dog introductions with both male and female dogs. Dola would not play with a toy at this time, she really don't know they are for play! She shows no food resource guarding when helper puts food down then removes it. She is still a bit nervous, but will come to the gate and wag her tail when she sees people.
► NOTES: Stray from Meadow Court/E Old Spring Hope Rd, Nashville, NC ~ No obvious aggression shown to other dogs in the kennels nor undue interest in the cats.
