Currently, I am in the process of trying to dread my hair. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be coming out correctly. Ive watched countless videos on how to dread hair, whether you should dread your hair or not, etc. Despite having educated myself on the process/journey, I lack the capability of creating them.
I was wondering if there are any dreadheads around that would be interested in guiding my journey. Helping me: section, backcomb or twist and rip, crochet. I can supply necessary tools.
I really want this process to be a one on one experience, not something done in a salon. I hope to look back in time and grow from my dreads: become a person with strong self-esteem and confidence.
I am crossing my fingers someone out there will help a girl out with this.
I have thick but fine caucasian hair.
I am NOT interested in extensions.
Would prefer to do this with someone who has dreads currently.
