My boyfriend and I are driving to Denver on the I-80. We're trying to do a straight shot but might stop to sleep in a hotel if it gets too gnarly; if we stop, we might not leave through Wyoming and beyond until 8/11. We're leaving Santa Rosa, CA at 4am on 8/10. We are down to pick anyone up on the route on the way, all we ask is for splitting gas by a third so that really depends on where you are picked up from. We have the whole backseat available which has three seats but comfortable for really only two because, lets face it, no one likes to be stuck in the middle for 18+ hours.
