I am a student enrolled in the music industry program at Drexel university, but took this year off to volunteer with a service organization called city year that puts young adults in underfunded inner city classrooms. I have years of experience teaching private music lessons primarily for guitar, but also for beginning bass students. I have a limited ability to play drums, piano, as well as provide vocals so I know how to put together bands and organize rehearsals if that is something students are interested too. I have worked in summer music camp settings with groups of students, as well as class room settings in subjects such as math , english, and of course music! I have performed in various rock bands in both the Washington DC and Philadelphia areas. I also have academic and performing background in both jazz and classical guitar. Through my work with City Year I have also already obtained a current PA child abuse clearance. At this point in time my hours are completely flexible and I have a car so I can provide lessons at my home near University or any other reasonable location such as student's homes. The first lesson is Free! After that 30 minute lessons would be $20 and hour lessons would be $35. I am happy to provide a resume and references upon request. All ages and experience levels welcome. I can't wait to start seeing students again and spreading.
