Emmy, a cute, young adult FIV-positive tabby cat, was abandoned. She is in a foster home with a family that has been patient enough to let her transform from a super-scared, always hiding, cat a few months ago into an affectionate kitty with her favorite human (who happens to be "the lady of the house"). Emmy is spayed, up-to-date on her shots, de-flea'd, de-wormed, etc. FYI: FIV is an immune-deficiency condition that can only be transmitted via sex or deep bite wounds to other cats (not humans, dogs, etc.) -- and with proper care and nutrition, many FIV-positive cats live long, healthy lives. We're trying to help find Emmy a loving "forever home," because her foster family can't keep her.
