I need an equipment mechanic for a short term job trouble shooting and fixing a problem with the starting circuit of a 2006 Volvo MC-80 skidsteer loader. The unit will not start with a key turn but will fire up when the solenoid is jumped at the starter. Have replaced the starter and solenoid combination with no change. Suspect a safety device is preventing activation of the ignition switch. Looking for someone who has experience in this type of problem and has the confidence to quickly troubleshoot the problem and fix it. Prefer unit to be fixed onsite in Eagle River. Please reply with a flat rate labor quote or hourly not to exceed amounts, to perform this job in 2 steps, I will provide necessary parts additional. Payment will be upon successful completion. Need to retain all safety devices on machine. I have more work on other machines if person hired proves qualified. If this ad is still up on craigs list then I am still looking for.
