ESL Teachers Unite

News: Teachers at St. Giles International of San Francisco announced on July 7, 2015 that they have unionized. See story at link below.

We love our jobs as ESL teachers because they are rewarding, but not financially. Those of us who work for corporate/for-profit schools are getting short-changed while the company bosses are making money hand over fist. We also have little job security as school administrators use "evaluations" of arbitrary design to remove more senior teachers who may have more hours, benefits and a higher hourly wage. These unfair labor practices must end.

By acting together, we can change this corrupt system and force these corporations to value their most important assets (their teachers).

As one, we are greater than the sum of our parts.
