Established metal/rock band JUDGEMENTAL seeks DRUMMER, preferably between early 20's - early 30's (some flexibility).
A little bit about us:
We have a diverse sound, kind of a mix of oldschool metal like Megadeth / Metallica with some new elements. Some songs are more melodic and rock metal-ish, some songs are pretty damn brutal, and others are somewhere in between. Musical influences range from Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, In Flames, Danzig, Ozzy, and Maiden to name a few.
We hope to hear from experienced hard rocking drummers looking to be a part of something long term. We have a Pro Tools home studio setup and we rehearse 2 - 3 times a week near 35 and Walnut Hill, depending on what we have going on with shows and writing/ recording. The band was formed in 2009 and we have a significant number of shows and experience under our belt. We always strive to improve our live show and make it an experience for the audience, and are very business oriented when it comes to building the band. That being said, we're laid back, we like to party, have a good time, make music and rock hard. No drama, no bullshit, just some guys that love to rock and are serious about building this band's exposure and fan base over the long term.
We have played with national acts like All That Remains, Atreyu, Smile Empty Soul, Earshot and others, and we're always seeking out the national act support gigs. We like to travel and our previous circuit was DFW, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Little Rock and other cities in Arkansas, as well as Missouri. We're looking to expand into Austin, Houston, San Antonio and other Texas cities and add more from there over time.
We are nearing completion of our second album, working with Sterling Winfield on the mixing. The first EP will give you a bit of an idea what we sound like but some of the new material is significantly more technical and we have taken things up a level overall.
