Established ProgressiveMetalRock band seeking Bass and Vocals (SLC)
Hello All,
I'm the drummer of a local band called Principium and we need some members! We are currently auditioning singers and bass players. Must be 21+, have a car, have a job, able to pay band rent + money for merch, recording, etc. You can check out a couple demos at principium.bandcamp.com and a couple videos at facebook.com/principiumtheband If you like those, I can send more.
Serious musicians only. We have shows booked and need people quickly. Please do not inquire if you aren't ready to buckle down and learn our music within 1-2 weeks. We have 4 originals and are in the process of writing more. Influences include Dream Theater, Rush, Porcupine Tree, Queensryche, Bon Jovi, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Neal Morse, Opeth, etc.
*********Vocalists***********
The vocals on the records mentioned above was our old singer. Screaming is not required. You will be asked to re-write the lyrics and melodies as part of your audition. You will also be asked to cover your favorite song while listening to the playback in our practice space.
*********Bass Players********
We have a bass player currently and he is going to stick with us either until our next show or we find another bass player. He will be willing to teach you the parts if needed. We are parting on good terms and he is a great guy.
