Ever

Living with an artist is never boring. It is always frustrating!

Once my artist decides upon a direction to take his art, all is well with me. I am content in knowing his passions are finally directed down one path. I can live with that. It makes life easier.

Then one morning I awake very early to find him sitting up in bed, eyes wide. I immediately prepare myself for a disruption to my short-lived contentedness. Here we go again!

An Artist's mind never stops creating, they are ever-changing. It does no good to try and stop their flow. It would be like trying to extinguish part of their very soul.

From the beginning of time artists have played with the mind and the senses. They see the world differently from the rest of us. According to a new limited study, artists brains are actually structurally different. The study found more grey and white matter in artists brains connected to visual imagination and fine motor control.

So there is a reason for their ever-changing minds and restlessness and need to continually create new and different art. Phew!! What a relief. Here I thought he was just trying to drive me crazy!
