Does work, blows very cold air, and swinging mechanism does work so air blows side to side. Also has a dehumidifier setting. Older model, so heavy, but slim and tall. The vent hose cracked, so no longer have it. Use to use this before we had a toddler with a metal dryer vent hose, but does get very hot. Can be replaced, looked up the hose online and can purchase for $45. Have the connectors, just don't have the time to replace the piece, or the need for the air conditioner any more.
