My name is Marce and I'm from Mexico.
I was an au pair in North Carolina for one year and a half and currently live in Petersfield, UK.
I really enjoy being with kids, before I became an Au pair I used to work in different summer camps, attended to a foster home to play with kids and volunteered for the eco-club for kids in elementary. I also have to mention I have a little sister 9 years younger than me so I'm used to living with kids. Every experience is unique.
I consider myself charismatic, flexible, patient, organized and responsible. I like to learn new things. I try to keep healthy and eat balanced.
I also have driving experience. I got my driver's license in Mexico when I was 16 and I used to drive my ex-host kids everywhere.
I speak Spanish and I would be more than happy to share my first language with you but I feel more than comfortable speaking English as well.
I'd love to share more so Please feel free to contact me
About me
I'm an outgoing person who loves to travel and visit new places, learn about other cultures, meet new people, try new things in general.
I'm open to change and I can easily adapt.
I always try my best.
I'm very independent
I'm organized and I like to keep things neat.
I'm not a TV person.
I Believe communication is one (if not the only) most effective keys to problem-solving.
I try to find a positive side in every 'bad' situation.
Why do you want to be an au pair?
I want to be an au pair (again) because I had an awesome experience.
I wanted to get out of my comfort zone but still do what I like the most (same concept-different family/place)
I love having fun, and who can do that better than kids?
I can have fun but also set limits: kids' safety always being my top priority.
When I lived in Durham I used to attend to Durham Tech Community College to take some classes and would like to have the opportunity to study there. Of course I would make my schedule based on your necessities and will organize my time :)
I think the whole au pair program is great since both host family and au pair get benefits, one of them being cultural exchange.
