Hello, I'm Lenox, a super sweet one-year-old girl with beautiful soft, silky black fur and a fine fluffy tail. I have been at Standish waiting for a forever home for almost four months, which is much too long for a gorgeous girl like me.
I am considered the life of the party in my room at Standish . . . always looking for a volunteer to play with or a lap to sit on. I love people, I love to play, and I love laps. I have something for everyone. I am the perfect All Around Great Cat! All I need is a home to call my own.
I do have one special request . . . because I am one of those people cats who love people so much that they prefer not to share their people, I would like to be the only feline in your family. Older children and a cat-loving dog would be okay, it's just that other cats tend to get in my way and make me jealous.
You've probably always associated the name Lenox with fine china or the home of fine music at the Tanglewood Music Center. If fact, I was named Lenox because the volunteers thought my stunning black coat and golden eyes reminded them of the finer things in life. Don't worry though, if you don't have any fine china, I will be happy with any dish you have.
