A wonderful documentary that explores the wonderful world of the history of African American in burlesque. We are interviewing pioneers in this industry whose age ranges from 70 to 88 years young. (Think Josephine Baker.) We were able to obtain some of the best footage from past and we are capturing wonderful footage of the present to produce a wonderful story that is heartfelt, funny, provocative and that is simply put... "Fire!"
Objectively we have a pathway to the major film festivals ie; Festival de Cannes, Sundance, South by Southwest, New York Film Festival and more!
I will offer you a contractual agreement as an Executive Producer with an R.O.I (Return On Investment.)
By doing this you can ensure that you are not donating funds but rather investing in a film.
Of course, as with any investment, there is no 100% guarantee until profits are monetized. But of course, I would not be doing this if I didn't think it would be a strong reality.
I am seeking $15,000 to $25,000 to fund additional peripheral equipment in order to offer a more commercially valuable product and covering a larger geographical area in capturing interviews.
On the lower end of the investment, we can get the job done!
On the larger scale of an investment, more cities can be covered, giving a much wider array of interviews. As mentioned I am limiting the geographical radius to the eastern seaboard because of financial constraints. With that said with an even bigger budget, I'd be able to get those interviews nationwide.
