Im a female photographer from the Baton Rouge area and I am continuing a project on female sexuality and masturbation. I have started this project because female masturbation is a conversation rarely had. There seems to be an overarching narrative that men get to be openly sexual and women do not. Therefore, I would like to create an intimate body of work dealing with females liberating themselves in a very sensual yet sophisticated manner. I understand that this is a very private act but just because it is kept private doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
