Want to take my tank down I have one adult 4"-5" female Auratus ( African cichlid ) she is territorial , but if she goes into an established cichlid tank with like sized fish she wont hurt anyone . she likes to chase but never hurts. It is like a game for her. I have had her from the time she was a fry and was silver and black. she is now sexually mature and is brown and opaque. healthy no ick or other fish diseases. I have re homed all the others and she needs a good home too. please serious cichlid owners need reply. I don't want her to die because you wanted a free fish. they require a different type of care than regular fresh water fish . she will also eat your tropical fish . Pick up.
