Bonjour! My name is Rachel. I'm a French woman and an MSDE licensed child care provider. I'm fluent in English, married to an American with three bilingual children.
I would like to help you give your child the gift of bilingualism.
All studies show that bilingual children are better equipped to deal with tasks involving attention, memory and concentration. Bilingualism also increases brain-flexibility and makes learning easier.
There is no special trick for teaching a second language to a child. Their brains are like sponges. We speak to your child in French, you speak to them in English, and soon they will become bilingual! This happens around the world everyday.
Your child learns more than just another language in our home. Healthy eating is very important to us. Your child's lunch is home-cooked with fresh and organic ingredients.
