Froggy came to Lab Rescue from way of the Ukiah shelter. He fell out of a truck in August on 101 and the owner just kept on driving. The person picked him up and took him into the shelter. He needed vet care to fix a broken pelvis and now he is ready to go to a new home!

Some information about Froggy:

Froggy was in a foster home in Ukiah and they just loved him. He is an active boy and will need plenty of exercise. He plays fine with many dogs; he is crate trained and knows sit. He does need better leash skills and he will come when called; but you need to say his name Frog EEE. (He is just now coming to a GGLRR foster home.)

What we want for Froggy:

A home that will give him more training, a home that can give him plenty of exercise, a home that is not gone for large periods of the day or a home that has a game plan if they are. A home that has a secure yard and a home that has had experience with large dogs. Froggy is a wonderful boy!

Medical:

Froggy is neutered, he is microchipped, has all his shots and he is heartworm negative; he is a very healthy boy.

He is being fostered in Palo Alto.

(Please keep in mind we are all volunteers, most of us work full time and we all have personal lives. I do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient and I will be back in touch with you. When the dogs are in foster homes then it may take longer as we need to touch base with the fosters for updates on the dogs. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week and we do not have a facility that we keep the dogs housed in. They are scattered all over the Bay.)
