FT CHILD CARE OPENINGS, ages 18 months (Maple Valley, Covington)
Hello, my name is Emily Harris and I'm currently looking for more friends to join our play group at Love&Learn PlaySchool, my in-home licensed child care center in Maple Valley.
To tell you a little about myself, I am 31 years old and have been married for over 13 years. I married my husband in 2001, and got the blessing of having an instant daughter who was 3 at the time. In March of 2006 I gave birth to our son. Upon my husbands graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2005 we moved to the Seattle area. My husband and I had a home built in 2007 and moved in at the beginning of August.
I have a variety of education and training. I have 2 associate degrees. I am certified in child, Infant, and adult CPR as well as first aid . I have completed 80 hours of STARS (child care) training courses. Each year I will be taking 10 hours of continuing child development education. However, my best education in child care is being a mother.
Love&Learn PlaySchool is over 1200 sq ft of our new 3000 sq ft home. The indoor playroom is over 1000 sq ft adjoined with my kitchen and large den. This area is equipped with a car/truck center, an activity bus, a library for story time, and so much more.
The outdoor play area is over 4,000 square feet with a 6 foot fully fenced yard. Equipped with a large rainbow type play system . Other fun filled toys include ride on cars/trucks, sports equipment, small climbers for smaller children, and plenty of room to run. This truly is a great playground!
At Love&Learn PlaySchool your child has the opportunity to learn through play and interaction. Your preschooler or toddler can be creative and imaginative through arts/crafts, dramatic play, and the various toys/equipment at Love&Learn PlaySchool.
At love and Learn PlaySchool I will be running my home on whatever type of care fits your schedule and needs. Full time 5 days a week Monday through Friday. Weekend care is negotiable depending on your schedule (for full time children only). You can contact me in the following ways:

I look forward to hearing from you. On a side note I am not able to pick up or drop off children. Snacks and meals are included in your child care. I am also able to take DSHS with Working.
