QR Code Link to This Post Archer was rescued from a backyard breeder at 6 weeks old and placed into a foster home. It was soon apparent that he had issues with his GI tract: he had roundworms, coccidia, and giardia. He was treated for all these parasites, and his diarrhea resolved but he would still vomit every time he ate. He had a great appetite, but was not gaining any weight - his littermate was double his size! We had some X-Rays taken of his esophagus and he was diagnosed with a persistent right aortic arch (PRAA), basically a remnant from when he was in his mother's womb. There is a band of tissue pushing on his esophagus, making it difficult for food to pass through. He needs to get a CT scan and surgery to repair this issue before it affects him long term. Please consider helping this little guy out!
