William teaches students of all levels, ages 8 through adult. William offers weekly half-hour and full-hour lessons from his studio at the Falcon Art Community at the corner of N. Albina and Killingsworth, three blocks from I-5. Studying with William, you will learn the requisites of a guitarist, including:
-Playing your favorite songs
-Learning songs from recordings
-Reading notation
-Music theory and history
-Composition and songwriting
-Equipment maintenance and care
-Developing proper technique and strong practice habits

Full-hour: $180/month About William:
William is a dedicated guitarist and instructor. He has been performing for 18 years and teaching for over a decade. He holds a degree in jazz studies from the University of Oregon (2008). He has toured internationally with The Cherry Poppin' Daddies and Halie Loren, as well as performing regionally with Morning Ritual and Lost Lander. He has toured extensively through North America, as well as performances in Europe, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Macau. William is currently a guitar instructor at Reed College, and he was a visiting instructor of jazz guitar at Willamette University in 2012. He co-owned and co-directed Harmony Roadhouse Music Studios in Eugene, OR (2009 to 2011). Space is limited, so call today! YouTube
