Prospective pet owners can choose from over 100 adoptable puppies, dogs, cats and kittens this weekend, all ready to head home with a new family of their very own!
The Adopt-a-thon will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday April 18th and Sunday April 19th.
The event will feature adoptable dogs and cats that were rescued from animal control facilities and shelters throughout the rural Midwest. There is a huge variety of breeds, colors, sizes, ages, temperaments, etc. Extra adoption counselors will be on hand to help potential adopters choose a pet that will work well for their home.
The event will be located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove IL at Wright-Way Rescue. Call for more information (option 2). No appointment needed.
Renters please bring a copy of your current lease. Families with children and other dogs in the home are encouraged to bring them along to ensure a great match.
All pets come up to date on medical care and each adoption includes a free veterinary exam. The adoption also includes access to "The Good Start" class which is a free training seminar for new owners of dogs and puppies.
