Giving a helping hand to travelers at Newark Liberty INT. Airport (Newark Liberty International Airport)
Travelers Aid Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is a nonprofit organization whose staff and volunteers work together to assist passengers from around the world.
Travelers Aid Newark Liberty International Airport seeks to support airport passengers in a variety of capacities. In more complex cases, Travelers Aid staff is prepared to assist with social service referrals, resources and/or connecting individuals with support systems. Volunteers are the core resource of the Travelers Aid program. They lend their knowledge and experience to passengers by suggesting tourist information, giving maps/brochures and offering guidance on how to navigate the airport and the transit systems of New Jersey & New York.
Travelers Aid volunteers receive a uniform, complimentary parking, food voucher and (in some cases) public transportation reimbursement. We ask our volunteers to share at least 1 day a week, 5 hours. Volunteer 5 hours shifts are 11:00 am to 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, 7 days a week. *At this time, we are in need of weekday evening shifts (4 pm - 9 pm) and both shifts (11 am - 4 pm and 4 pm - 9 pm)on the weekends. We hope you join our Volunteer Family at Travelers Aid - Newark Liberty International.
