He was a rescue and hasn't had much one on one training, but responds very well to basic target training and is very treat motivated. Will sometimes step up onto the target stick, but still afraid of hands. He gets along well with others for the most part and shares his hut with two other birds at night, but has taken to plucking one of my females (just her, never the others) so I'm thinking he should have a home with only friends of his own species, or possibly as an only bird with someone who has plenty of time to spend on training and bonding. A multi species home where the owner is able to have separate spaces or closely supervise playtime would also work. He was badly clipped in his last home but is now fully feathered and flighted, and I do not want him to be clipped again. Conure or similar parrot experience preferred, he can be very timid and needs someone who can understand his body language and respect his boundaries.
