Have a pure bred female German Shepherd Dog that is going to need a different handler/owner. She's been going into the public - restaurants, stores, crowded malls etc. Without any problems at all! Is perfect in public! However I have to have my service dog carry saddlebags with my medications, inhaler and wallet etc..

she's great around other animals and doesn't react in any negative ways. Goes willingly in and out of automatic doors, bathrooms, no problems with hand dryer noises, will sit in front of me out of the way when at a register, will sit quietly when waiting in lines is absolutely awesome. She will walk calmy next to a chair, motorized shopping cart, stroller regular push type shopping cart. She's even happy to lay on the motorized shopping cart deck and rest while shopping! LOL!!!

However this is her only issue, because she's a pressure comfort type of dog she walks touching me which sometimes the saddlebags on her harness catch the back of my knee and I lose my balance. She's going to be perfect for someone needing a service dog for PTSD or severe anxiety but I can't see scolding her and, trying to train her not to do something that someone else is in desperate need of. Without the saddlebags she doesn't cause this issue but I have to have have my medications with me at all times and I can't carry a purse because of past injuries.

Please contact me for questions and further information. She's a tall saddleback Shepherd with absolutely no roach back, slope back or angle at all. She's a positively not a brackett type of GSD she's got straight correct legs but thankfully no straight stifles. She's still got some training to do but she's got the public part down perfectly! She will come with her working leash, collar, slip chain, service cape/harness (you will need to buy your own Velcro patches, I need them for the dog I'm replacing her with.) and rabies tag. Saddlebags can go with her but only if this won't be an issue for the new handler.

She's excellent with my children and will walk just as politely with my 6yr old as she will with any adult. She's great with our other fur kids including our cats and horses. She's ok around chickens but has to be reminded not to catch them, she will catch them but not hurt them unless nobody notices and she will take the chicken to a quiet spot to eat but won't hurt a chicken when she does catch it. This isn't an issue with us because our chickens are penned up from foxes and possums and raccoons but when one gets loose she will catch it but let it go on command and the chicken always runs off without any blemish except it's pride!! LOL!!

I forgot to mention she walks in line with your shoulder so she's well mannered on leash and doesn't even need a "choke" chain or even a martingale collar she does well with just her leather collar or leash on her harness/cape. This is absolutely breaking my heart because I've spent 8months working with this girl and she just has to be touching me at all times even while walking which is a dream come true for a PTSD service dog but I have nearly no equilibrium and getting a saddlebag into the back of my knee is not painful it throws my gait and I've fallen several times already. Please, this is not a tool or fun dog to just have a dog you take anywhere with you in public! This is one of my kids and a part of my life and she makes it possible for for me to tolerate being in crowds and in public without breakdowns and or panic attacks! I desperately hope she finds a handler that values her as a partner and family member like we do! Her name is Chloe and she's 10 months old. Weighs about 80lbs and still growing. She has a non negotiable rehoming fee and is not Free. I will be happy to meet in a public place and show her to you so so you can see her in her public element so you can see she's is what she's being advertised as. And she's housetrained and at night sleeps tethered to my side so she doesn't click around at night because I am a light sleeper and can't handle hearing nails clicking the tiles at night. She sleeps quietly and calmly. She has an iron clad bladder in public and will willingly hold it for the whole day if it's a busy hectic day and you forget to 'walk' her for her constitutionals occasionally throughout the day. On active duty I keep a bowl of extreme athlete formula dog food in the car for her to eat freely as we go from place to place to keep her energy up and chicken breast jerky peices are good for protein.
