My name is Lynne. 2015 is my thirteenth year keeping numbers doing TNR (trap/neuter/return) and cat rescue. Last year I brought 68 in for spay/neuter and 6 were taken off the streets. In 2013, of the 64 cats I 'speutered' 34 came from one location and the majority were kittens. With no where to take them, they were returned to whence they came and are fed daily...they run to me with tails held high wanting attention. Four more were born indoors, and thanks to Sunshine Rescue, a local rescue group, they were fostered and placed in loving homes. Fifty cats have now been done from that one location, and number 50 is with me, in need of a home of her own. 2012 I brought in 67 cats to get 'speutered' and took just 4 off the streets. The two black ones are still with me and the 2 Siamese went to Pets and Pals in Danville. The year prior; 56 cats 'speutered,' taking 25 off the streets who were either re-homed or in foster care thanks to many helpful people. 2010 I brought in 43, taking three / 10 week old kittens off the streets, and a mama cat who had been dumped pregnant at one of the feeding stations. She bore 4 babies, and they were all safely taken from the street. In '09/72 placing 5; '08/109 placing 5, the years before: 112/9, 79/15, and 76/21. All in all 746 cats 'speutered' since 2002. All kittens and cats placed are spay/neutered, inoculated, wormed, flea free and tested for FIV/FeLV. I feed fifteen sites where I place food and water daily, keep vigil for new cats and trap as often as possible, picking up every CA/CRV plastic bottle, piece of aluminum foil, aluminum can (including cat food aluminum cans and lids) to help with the expenses of caring for these cats. I collect the weight circles from Purina Cat food products: Purina Cat Chow, Kitten Chow, Pro Plan, Indoor Formula, Purina One and Kit'N Kiboodle, When sent in quantity, Purina sends coupons to purchase more of their product. I open six 16 lb. sacks a week, and I'm asking for your help.
