CHOOSE A TEACHER WISELY
Please choose a teacher wisely, even if you don't study with me. It saddens me to see promising students become disillusioned and disinterested in studying an instrument as a result of their first introduction to playing being with an out-of-work guitar player who has no experience teaching and is only out there looking to make a few bucks until his/her band starts working. Unfortunately, this happens more often than not, so just be sure to ask questions -- good teachers encourage that and are happy to answer anything that makes you feel more relaxed about their teaching and experience.
