Guitar and keys wanted for original indie soul rock amp roll band
Hey there folks,
I'm an indie pop/rock singer, songwriter and guitarist and I recently moved to Boston from Ithaca, NY to play music more seriously. My songs are typically anthemic bittersweet tales of personal moments -- very fun, danceable, but also tug on your heart strings just a little. They're often inspired by 60's tunes, Motown grooves, etc., and now I'm definitely looking to go more in the oldies direction with it -- kind of the style of what Lake Street Dive, Alabama Shakes, and St. Paul & The Broken Bones are doing these days.

Since I transplanted myself here in Boston, I need a new band. So far, we have myself (singing), a drummer, and a bass player. We're now looking for:
A guitarist with great rhythm that can also write/play beautiful, melodic lead parts that don't distract but only add to the song's feel. (Great if you can sing, too!)
A keyboard player that can give us swelling overtones of just the right amount of organ, piano & synth sounds. Also would be a huge plus if you can sing harmonies with me.
Eventually we may look for a horn section -- probably trumpet, saxophone, trombone, and/or tuba. However right now, we're looking for just guitar and keys to form a solid foundation. We want to get all our songs ready and start gigging ASAP!
Very importantly, as I mentioned before, I'm looking for as many people as possible to also sing. Looking to do some 3 or 4 part harmonies if possible. So if you play any of these instruments and also think you have some singing chops and aren't shy, shoot me an email and we'll talk!
We're in our 20s, we're pretty dedicated to the band, we don't have drug/drinking problems, we aren't racist/sexist/homophobic, and hope that you're the same kind of person in those respects.
Send me an email so we can get this band together! Looking forward to hearing from y'all.
