A couple of caveats before you call: Although I appreciate the offers, I am not looking to play restaurant or cafe gigs in exchange for a meal and tips. I also am not looking to start or join a band, although I am willing to do a rehearsal for a paid gig, or play some local (Bay Area) gigs with an established, gigging band, maybe as a sub. Not seeking to travel, tour, etc. Not interested in classic rock bar gigs. Just trying to save us all some time.
Also, my availability is more or less limited to weekends, as I teach Monday to Friday and, unfortunately, most gigs do not cover the cost of me canceling more than a couple of students.
