Hawaiian Feathered Friends Special Event (AMR)
Hawaiian Feathered Friends Network is pleased to announce a special event being held this Sunday, August 9th, at Aliamanu Military Reservation Community Center.
Special guest speaker Betsy Lott will be with us all the way from Mollywood Avian Sanctuary in Bellingham Washington.
* Learn what it's like to get a sanctuary up and running
* Learn about all the special and unique birds currently living there
* Learn about what it takes to rescue and rehabilitate
This event is free for everyone, whether you're a member or not. It takes place from 10AM- 4PM, Sunday, August 9th at the Aliamanu Military Reservation Community Center located at 176 Kauhini Rd. Honolulu Hawaii 96818. This is an open military housing area, so a military ID card is NOT required.
Keeping with tradition of our usual monthly meetings, this event will be potluck style, so please bring your favorite dish to share.
There will be Wing, Beak, and Nail trims offered at 11AM for a small fee.
