Help! I have been scammed by a 16 year professional friend of my life savings($120,000.00). The money is gone and I have $4000.00 in the bank, that's it. I am forced to sell all of my furniture, cars and anything else that can be sold.
*Currently I am an unemployed professor due to the cutbacks at the University. I have been looking for a job with few results. I am highly educated (PhDs), a businessman (25years CEO), Educational Administrator (19years) and have a lot on the ball.
*I have reported the scam and this individual to the LA Police, the city DA, FBI, IRS and Social Services. The social worker from the social services described the scam as a elderly financial abuse case. Still nothing has been done by any of the agencies I mentioned. I have hired a civil attorney to go after the money but that can take years. Meanwhile, I am not going to survive another month (August) unless I have some help.
*I am a Vietnam Veteran, but,there is no help available from that source. My mother is dyeing and she has no means or sources to help me out.

*I am really desperate and need some financial help. I have never had to ask for financial help from anyone. I am willing to work and payback any moneys barrowed. My back is against the wall and I do not know what I am going to do. I have tapped all the resources I know and still come up with a big goose egg.

If there is someone out there that is well off and has the means to help me get back on my feet, this act of goodness would be much appreciate and not forgotten.
