The Salt Lake City Moose Junior Hockey Club are looking for host families (known as "billet" families in the hockey world) for the 2015-16 season.
One thing absolutely critical to the team's success is finding good host families. Our players are 17-20 years of age and come to us from all over the world! When not on the ice, most will attend school, volunteer in the community or look for employment while in Salt Lake. Host families are responsible for providing a safe, caring home environment and ensuring their is enough food in the house to meet the player's nutritional needs. Host families DO NOT need to provide transportation.
Moose billet families receive $350/month to cover the players expenses such as food and increased utilities along with season tickets, team events and other benefits from the Moose!!
Many players who have come through the Moose program still have great relationships with their host families and continue to stay in touch after their junior hockey careers come to an end.
