Malden Area Host Families! Homestay bookings are now available for incoming Chinese, high school students starting in mid-August.
Specific student details will follow as students are accepted to private high school in the Malden area (zip: 02148) for the Fall enrollment. Please let me know if you are interested in hosting a high student this coming Fall for the academic year.
Details:
These students will encounter daily challenges of learning a new culture, adjusting to life at a school, and making new friends. We hope to provide them with great host families who can offer a warm, welcoming environment and support through this journey.
Requirements:
• A private room
• 2 meals per day on weekdays, 3 meals per day on weekend/school closings
• Transportation to and from school (in some cases, the student may be open to taking the school bus)
• A warm home environment and basic assistance with navigating American culture
Compensation:
The compensation is $1000/monthly to provide room, board and school transportation.
Our Guarantee:
A Homestay Coordinator is assigned to each booking to be available to both the student the host family throughout the entire experience. MIF guarantees satisfaction for both host family and student. If at any point during the length of the contract either party is unsatisfied, we will re-place the student in another host family's home.
