I have been in the plumbing and heating business for 28 years I owned Calendar Heating Service for 15 yrs I can Install a gas 40 gallon water heater in for you for $850 (eight hundred and fifty dollars)parts and Labor , (Bradford White water heater) Is the brand I try to use unless its a weekend then it might have to be GE , please see what size you need you tell what sizeyou need is on the tag on front of your water heater it will tell you how many gallons it is , most houses use 40 gallons and messure your wter heater from bottom to top only the round part not the smoke pipe yhis will tell you if you need a tall or short one , a few other little parts you will need is a hot water heater tee that is calleed a 3/4inch female by 1/2inch female by 1/2 inch copper tee also a 3/4 inch female by 1/2inch copper adt and (2) 1/2 inch copper couplings and (4) 1/2 inch copper 90s
